Duke Kunshan University graduate students successfully completing the course of study required by Duke Kunshan University and Duke University will be conferred a diploma from Duke University indicating that the degree has been granted in accordance with the requirements of  Duke University (Duke University and its degrees are accredited by  Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) ). Students will be alumni of both institutions. 

There is NO application fee. Students who are admitted to the university and choose to enroll will need to pay a nonrefundable deposit before a deadline, which can become part of your tuition payment later on.

Yes. You may need to submit multiple applications since programs may have different requirements.

Duke Kunshan is committed to enrolling a highly talented and diverse student body. Scholarship is available to support these goals. All applicants will automatically be considered for available scholarships, up to and including full scholarships. The amount of scholarship is mainly based on merit.

Tuition is billed by and paid to Duke Kunshan University (except US citizen/permanent resident students of Master of Management Studies). Tuition and fees are due before the start of each semester. Students can pay via wire transfer or debit cards in the currency in which they are invoiced. Federal or private loans may be available from your home country.

No. The language of instruction at Duke Kunshan is English. However, you are encouraged to study and practice Chinese by taking classes and coaching sessions offered by Duke Kunshan Language and Culture Center.

It depends on the programs. Except Master of Management Studies which requires GRE or GMAT, all programs accept one of the below tests: TOEFL or IELTS or Duolingo if you do not meet the language test waiver requirements. The waiver policy can be found on the admission webpage of the program.

Duke Kunshan’s Office of Career Services offers one-on-one appointments and group appointments, and regularly organize company information sessions, talks by guest speakers, networking sessions, career skills workshops, class or club presentations, field trips, and many more.

Duke Kunshan’s Student Health Center provides basic primary care medical services. It has one full-time physician, one part-time physician and two nurses. Part-time nurses provide out-of-hours care for medical emergencies.

CAPS is staffed by a full-time counselor and a full-time psychologist. It provides crisis intervention and emergency services, individual and group counseling services, workshops, outreach programs, and consultation and referral services for students. CAPS can also provide assistance to students with special needs or disabilities.

Kunshan city is an emerging, modern metropolis with a history dating back more than 2,000 years. Located at the heart of the Yangtze River Delta region in eastern China’s Jiangsu province, it neighbors both Shanghai and Suzhou, two dynamic cities.
